One of our top education partners is searching for a motivated, tech‑savvy Entry-Level IT Field Technician to support schools across the Chicagoland area! This short-term contract (with strong potential to extend) runs Monday–Friday, 3PM–7PM, perfect for anyone looking to gain hands-on experience while keeping their days free.

In this dynamic, on-the-move role, you’ll be the go-to IT hero—helping students, teachers, and staff stay connected and productive with your after-hours work. From setting up Chromebooks to keeping IT assets organized, you’ll play a crucial part in making sure daily school operations run smoothly. Plus, you’ll visit multiple campuses, so no two days ever look the same!

What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver friendly, on-site IT support to faculty, staff, and students
• Set up, configure, and troubleshoot Chromebooks and other classroom devices
• Assist with inventory management and IT asset tracking

• Experience with IT Support and troubleshooting a plus
• Formal IT training, courserwork and certifications preferred
• Experience with Google Chromebooks
• Must be able to comfortably lift up to 50lbs independently and up to 150lbs with assistance
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude

Compensation Range:

$18.00/hr
