What you'll be doing
The Paving Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a project, facility, or organization. This role involves managing personnel, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining timelines and budgets. The Superintendent serves as the on-site leader and ensures that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff, subcontractors, and vendors.

Ensure that all work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with plans and specifications.

Monitor project progress and prepare reports for senior management or clients.

Maintain communication with project managers, clients, engineers, and inspectors.

Enforce safety regulations and protocols.

Review and interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Oversee quality control to ensure workmanship meets required standards.

Manage inventory, materials, and equipment on-site.

Resolve issues or delays in a proactive and timely manner.

Conduct inspections and ensure regulatory compliance.
What skills and experience you'll bring to us

High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, education, or related field preferred (depending on industry).

5+ years of relevant experience in a supervisory or management role.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.

Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- Strong Background in paving, concrete and grading
- Class A CDL
