Job Summary:

Delivery Coordinator oversees all delivery operations for the R.F. Fager Company at our Dillsburg Distribution Center, specifically routing the drivers in a manner that requests are met on time. This includes leadership with Delivery Drivers to ensure prompt and accurate delivery to R.F. Fager customers, branches and clients. This position also serves as delivery service liaison to all departments of the Company. Promoting and instilling a culture of safety is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use delivery software to plan driver routes and organize materials for third-party deliveries.
• Review customer orders, set delivery priorities, and adjust schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
• Build good relationships with customers and handle questions or concerns.
• Quickly find and fix delivery problems.
• Communicate clearly with the delivery team to make sure deliveries are accurate and on time.
• Supervise the delivery team and give direction as needed.
• Assign work and resources based on delivery needs.
• Make sure the delivery team meets quality and service standards.
• Find ways to save time and reduce costs in the delivery process.
• Make important decisions to meet customer needs.
• Keep delivery paperwork organized.
• Complete other tasks as needed.
