Paid Advertising Manager

Perennial Services Group | Denver, CO or Remote | $100,000-$120,000

⚠ Non-Negotiable Experience: Google Search Ads, Local Services Ads (LSA), Nextdoor/Yelp/local platforms, and multi-brand campaign management. Applications without these will not advance.

About Perennial Services Group

Perennial Services Group (PSG) is a fast-growing platform of 30+ local service brands spanning landscaping, turf, pest control, arbor, irrigation, and plant health care. We provide centralized marketing, sales, and operations infrastructure to help our brands compete and win in local markets across the country. Our marketing team moves fast, operates with data, and takes ownership of outcomes — not just activities.

The Role

We're looking for a hands-on Paid Advertising Manager who owns performance, not just process. You'll manage paid campaigns across a portfolio of 30+ brands, optimize for cost-per-lead and ROAS, and work cross-functionally with SEO, content, web, and RevOps to close the loop from click to close. This isn't a role for someone who sets campaigns and monitors dashboards. We need someone who digs into underperformers, tests aggressively, and brings strategic recommendations to the table.

You'll report to senior marketing leadership and serve as the paid media subject matter expert for the organization.

What You'll Own

  • Manage and optimize paid campaigns across Google Search, LSAs, Bing, Yelp, Nextdoor, Angi, and other local platforms for 30+ brands
  • Monitor spend vs. budget daily, adjust bids and targeting, and reallocate budget to maximize ROI across the portfolio
  • Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports with clear insights and recommendations — not just numbers
  • Gather lead quality feedback from local branch managers and apply it to campaign optimization
  • Partner with the SEO, content, and web teams to improve landing page conversion and ensure campaign-to-site alignment
  • Collaborate with RevOps to ensure closed-loop attribution from ad click to booked job
  • Build scalable playbooks and account structures that can expand as we add brands
  • Test emerging platforms and ad formats to stay ahead of competitors in local service advertising

Non-Negotiable Requirements

You will not advance in the process without demonstrated experience in all four of the following:

  • Google Search Ads — expert-level campaign management, keyword strategy, and bid optimization
  • Local Services Ads (LSAs) — hands-on experience managing LSA campaigns, GBP integration, and lead verification
  • Local advertising platforms — active experience with Nextdoor, Yelp, Angi, or comparable local service platforms
  • Multi-brand campaign management — experience managing paid media across 15+ brands or business units simultaneously

Additional Required Experience

  • 7+ years in paid digital advertising with direct campaign management responsibility
  • Strong keyword research and negative keyword hygiene skills
  • Comfortable with analytics and attribution — Google Analytics, call tracking, CRM integration
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with SEO, content, and web teams
  • Understanding of how AI and automation are reshaping paid search (Smart Bidding, Performance Max, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multi-brand ad management platforms, particularly Fluency — this is a significant plus
  • Background in home services advertising (pest control, landscaping, turf, HVAC, or similar)
  • Familiarity with Meta, YouTube, and Google Display for local audience targeting
  • Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certifications

What Success Looks Like at 90 Days

  • Full ownership of all active campaigns with no drop in performance
  • Clear reporting cadence established with marketing leadership and local brand contacts
  • At least one meaningful optimization initiative underway with measurable early results
  • Working relationships built with SEO, content, web, and RevOps teams
