Join Oliver Inc. as our next Production Scheduler and take the lead in planning and coordinating our production workflow to ensure on-time delivery, equipment efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do:
As a Production Scheduler, you will:
- Develop and maintain a master production schedule based on customer demand, forecast data, and capacity constraints
- Plan and coordinate labor and equipment utilization to maximize throughput and meet OTD (On-Time Delivery) goals
- Leverage ERP systems to manage accurate scheduling, capacity planning, and production data
- Adjust and communicate schedule changes, identifying bottlenecks and capacity issues before they occur
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Purchasing, and Department Managers
- Align schedules with purchase orders, raw material availability, and third-party service timelines to ensure smooth production flow
About You:
You're a fit for the role of Production Scheduler, if your background includes:
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in production scheduling or manufacturing planning
- Associate's degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficient in ERP systems, Excel, and production control software
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, and material planning
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience in the packaging or print manufacturing industry
- Proven success in balancing labor, equipment, and material constraints while maintaining production goals
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance planning and lean manufacturing principles
