Implementation Business Analyst (Troy, MI)
Summary - The Implementation Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting Project Managers with onboarding new clients or upgrading existing clients to proprietary software applications. This position involves gathering and defining requirements, developing and executing test plans, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors, and training end users to ensure successful adoption of the software.
Applicant must live in Metro Detroit area as in-office days in Troy office are required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to
  • Analyze business needs and provide clear requirements for application development and maintenance activities.
  • Validate and map converted data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Confirm that business functionality, compliance requirements, and industry standards are met within the software application.
  • Develop detailed business user requirements, system documentation, workflow procedures, and comprehensive test plans.
  • Review and interpret technical documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Create and maintain business process diagrams and related documentation.
  • Perform report analysis, development, and compilation for client and internal use.
  • Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing support during implementation.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance as an essential function of the role.
Education and Experience
  • 2–3 years of experience in information technology or software implementation, preferred.
  • Background in Taft-Hartley Benefit Fund administration, preferred.
  • Familiarity with contribution-related terminology and ability to interpret rates and rules as defined by Collective Bargaining Agreements and Collection Policies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and ability to create basic queries, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with high standards of quality.

Work Schedule - Full-time. Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. Requires in-office days but also offers at-home flexibility after 90 days.

Pay - Salary range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 annually. Salary offered dependent on skills, experience, education, location and other business factors.
