Senior SaaS Implementation Manager (Carmel, IN) Position Summary The Senior SaaS Implementation Manager is responsible for leading the successful onboarding, configuration, and deployment of enterprise SaaS solutions for new and existing clients. This role requires deep expertise in SaaS implementation methodologies, project management, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with client expectations, while driving continuous improvement of implementation practices to scale with business growth. Primary functions will involve establishing and implementing best practices, recommending and implementing systems to support project management, as well as defining processes and procedures necessary to ensure proper management and success. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Delivery - Serve as the primary client-facing leader during SaaS implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and business requirements.
- Lead discovery sessions to capture and validate client needs, translate them into system configurations, and document detailed requirements.
- Partner with client executives, stakeholders, and internal teams to manage expectations, mitigate risks, and resolve escalations.
Project Leadership - Own end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent implementation projects, from initiation through go-live and post-implementation support.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and status reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Establish and monitor key project success metrics (KPIs) such as adoption, client satisfaction, and ROI achievement.
- Define project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities, as well as architecting right-sized project plans to ensure proper governance & transparency to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Align resource requirements, managing resource availability both internally and externally, tracking projects through their lifecycle.
- Identifying and mitigating potential risks, managing and adjusting for changes, schedule and/or budget.
Cross-Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with peers, team members, and stakeholders to drive project success.
- Provide client feedback and insights to influence product enhancements and roadmap prioritization.
- Lead, coach and develop implementation managers and analysts, promoting best practices in SaaS delivery and providing regular performance feedback.
Continuous Improvement - Standardize and refine implementation frameworks, playbooks, and methodologies to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, template creation, and best practice adoption.
- Drive initiatives to improve onboarding speed, client satisfaction, and implementation team productivity.
Qualifications Required - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in project management.
- Proven track record managing large-scale, complex projects.
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, APIs, integrations, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project).
- Formal project management training or certification (CAPM or equivalent required, PMP/PgMP preferred).
- Hands-on experience leading projects using Scrum and Agile frameworks.
- Self-motivated and directed, ability to prioritize workloads and multi-task. Must be able to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical users.
- Expert experience with Excel and other data and analytical tools, technical and software-development project management a plus.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job.
Preferred - Experience in the benefits administration, financial or healthcare IT industry.
- Knowledge of change management principles (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR).
- Experience managing and mentoring implementation teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

Work Schedule - Full-time. Monday – Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm. Requires in-office days but also offers at-home flexibility after 90 days. Competitive Benefits and Compensation Package - 12 paid holidays
