| Clerical Assistant (Troy, MI) Summary – Provides support to the department coordinators, supervisors and manager to accomplish various routine and special projects. Maintain and organize departmental supplies and filing. Assist with posting payments, special mailings and records review. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to
Qualifications - Excellent customer service skills are a must. Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Good organizational skills. Education and/or Experience – High School diploma or GED and one year of experience in office or clerical environment. Language Skills – Must speak clearly and professionally. Ability to understand directions and follow them to completion of requested task. Mathematical Skills – General math skills. Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions. Work Environment - Fast paced department. Phone calls are continuous and often unpleasant. Must be able to maintain composure with difficult callers, work independently as well as in a team, must be able to multi-task and must be detailed oriented. Work Schedule - Full-time. Monday – Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm. Required in office (No at-home days). Competitive Benefits and Compensation Package
Pay Hourly rate ranges from $20.00 - $21.00. Actual rate dependent on location, skills, education, experience and other business factors.
