Purpose: The Area Clinical Development Coordinator (ACDC) for Oklahoma is a clinical leadership role who will be responsible for developing, coaching, and advancing early-career clinicians across an assigned Area. This role partners closely with Rooted Program leadership, the BI Training team, and local clinical leaders to ensure Interns, Apprentices, and new BCBAs demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, meet exam and productivity benchmarks, and deliver high-quality clinical outcomes. The ACDC plays a critical role in strengthening clinical consistency, improving BCBA exam readiness and first-time pass rates, accelerating productivity ramp, and reducing early-career burnout and turnover. This position extends across the first year of clinical practice, providing sustained mentorship, consultation, and quality assurance support.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Oversight & Development (Area-Level)
    • Provide structured clinical mentorship and training to Interns, Apprentices, and new BCBAs beyond onboarding through the first year of practice.
    • Conduct case reviews focused on clinical rationale, treatment planning, program progression, and data-driven decision-making.
    • Strengthen supervision, staff coaching, parent engagement, and discharge planning practices.
    • Monitor clinical documentation and ensure Quality Assurance standards are met.
    • Identify trends in clinical performance gaps and collaborate with training and leadership teams on targeted interventions.
  • Rooted Program Oversight & Growth
    • Partner with Rooted Program Leaders to expand Intern and Mentor participation and engagement.
    • Review mock exam scores and performance data, implementing structured learning pathways and training modules.
    • Support mentors in maintaining high-quality supervision aligned with BACB standards.
  • Hybrid Clinical Co-Management
    • Co-manage a small caseload in partnership with non-credentialed new graduates.
    • Model ethical clinical practice, case conceptualization, staff supervision, and parent training strategies.
    • Provide real-time feedback and reflective supervision to accelerate skill acquisition.
    • Ensure assigned caseloads meet productivity and clinical quality benchmarks.
  • Quality Assurance & Clinical Metrics
    • Conduct clinical audits and case reviews to ensure treatment fidelity, measurable client progress, and accurate documentation.
    • Support developing clinicians in achieving key clinical performance metrics.
    • Identify high-risk cases early and provide corrective consultation.
    • Collaborate with Area Directors of Clinical Services and center leadership on performance trends.
  • Collaboration & Area Leadership
    • Serve as a strategic clinical partner to clinical, training, and operations leaders.
    • Provide insight into training needs impacting supervision, parent training, caseload utilization, and discharge planning.
    • Support succession planning and internal clinical leadership pipeline development.
    • Promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and clinical excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with Oklahoma state licensure and active Oklahoma Medicaid credentialing
  • Experience directly providing clinical oversight, supervision, and case consultation to other clinicians across various centers.
  • Proven leadership capabilities as demonstrated through direct oversight of clinicians across multiple locations.
  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical case conceptualization and supervision.
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop early-career clinicians.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong data literacy and ability to interpret clinical and productivity metrics.
