We're Hiring: Enterprise Applications Manager
About Behavioral Innovations:
Since 2000, Behavioral Innovations (BI) has been a leading provider committed to transforming lives by providing compassionate, center-based Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism, ages 18 months to 10 years. With more than 100+ locations across six states (TX, OK, CO, VA, MD, NC) - and more to come - we’re continuing to expand rapidly. Join our dynamic team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the families we serve.
Your Role and What You'll Do:
As a key member of the BI team, the Enterprise Applications Manager will own the architecture, the roadmap, and the relationship with our Salesforce account executive. This role is responsible for Salesforce architecture remediation, leading the strategy, implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the organization’s enterprise systems. This role ensures that all enterprise applications - such as HRIS, ERP, CRM, and other critical platforms are aligned with business objectives, operate efficiently, and deliver a seamless user experience across the organization.
This leader partners cross-functionally with business and IT stakeholders to drive system enhancements, ensure data integrity, and support scalable solutions that enable operational excellence. The Enterprise Applications Manager plays a key role in governance, compliance, and continuous improvement, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and positioned to support organizational growth.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the internal Salesforce architect - owning the data model, org design, integrations, and release strategy.
- Lead a thorough assessment of the current organization’s health identifying technical debt, redundant fields, misaligned objects, and architectural gaps; make and defend a clear recommendation on remediation versus redesign.
- Project manages the re-architecture effort: coordinate with internal stakeholders and any external consultants, manage work through sandbox environments, preserve historical data integrity, and oversee controlled rollouts to production.
- Manage and develop direct reports.
- Own the relationship with our Salesforce Account Executive, including license management, contract renewals, and roadmap alignment.
- Lead evaluation and prioritization of new Salesforce features, AppExchange tools, and platform upgrades.
- Ensure the org evolves toward a clean, scalable architecture, proactively surfacing risks and sequencing changes to minimize business disruption.
- Take ownership of HRIS platform administration and vendor relationship, partnering with People/HR on configuration and optimization.
- Serve as the internal owner for SSO and identity management, coordinating with our third-party IT vendor on implementation and access governance.
- Partner with clinical leadership to understand EHR and clinical system needs, owning the technical relationship with relevant vendors and ensuring integrations with adjacent systems are maintained and scalable.
- Develop a clear inventory of enterprise systems, their owners, and their integration touchpoints.
- Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership.
- Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, and Clinical leadership to understand system needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Build a systems roadmap that aligns to organizational priorities and communicates clearly to leadership.
- Lead or support system implementations, migrations, and integrations end-to-end.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise systems, business applications, or IT management roles.
- Deep Salesforce expertise including data modeling, flows, integrations, and release management (Admin certification required; Architect-track experience preferred).
- Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring technical staff.
- Strong project management skills you can own a workstream from kickoff to go-live without heavy oversight.
- Experience working with third-party vendors and holding them accountable to outcomes.
- Clear, concise communicator who can translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday, ADP, Paylocity, or similar).
- Familiarity with SSO/identity platforms (Okta, Azure AD, or similar), preferred.
- Experience with EHR or clinical systems in a healthcare or behavioral health environment, preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or other regulated environments.
- Salesforce Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, or Architect certifications.
