Maintain provider information in credentialing databases and software; audit payor directories for accuracy.
Facilitate payor communications to resolve credentialing and contracting issues.
Ensure all sensitive information is handled confidentially and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Verify enrollment status, instructions, and applications using calls, web portals, and email communication.
Coordinate with the revenue cycle team to ensure provider numbers and effective enrollment dates are entered for timely claim submissions.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health plans, regulatory requirements, and credentialing procedures.
Prepare and manage commercial, Medicaid, and third-party application forms for new and existing providers.
