Your Role and How You’ll Make a Difference:
As a Finance Analyst at Behavioral Innovations, you will be a critical member of our Finance team - contributing to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis efforts that drive smart, data-informed decisions across the organization. You’ll work closely with cross-functional leaders to track performance, analyze financial trends, and provide actionable insights to support our mission of delivering high-quality autism care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts and the annual budget
Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide clear explanations
Maintain and improve financial models to support reporting and planning
Generate monthly management reports for leadership review
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as requested
Support month-end close activities and ensure reporting accuracy
Assist with creation of board and executive presentation materials
Conduct basic profitability and performance analysis
Performance Expectations (Outcomes):
Demonstrate proficiency in existing reporting and forecasting models within 90 days
Enhance model functionality and reporting efficiency within 180 days
Deliver actionable variance analysis that supports business decisions
Contribute to month-end close within established timelines
Build strong relationships with business unit leaders to support financial planning
Identify and resolve financial reporting discrepancies in a timely manner
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting highly preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or corporate finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with modeling preferred
- Well-versed in creating and building financial models
Exposure to budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting tools
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles highly preferred
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience:
Experience with financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
Experience working in a multi-site or healthcare environment is a plus
