Your Role and How You’ll Make a Difference:

As a Finance Analyst at Behavioral Innovations, you will be a critical member of our Finance team - contributing to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis efforts that drive smart, data-informed decisions across the organization. You’ll work closely with cross-functional leaders to track performance, analyze financial trends, and provide actionable insights to support our mission of delivering high-quality autism care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly forecasts and the annual budget

  • Analyze budget-to-actual variances and provide clear explanations

  • Maintain and improve financial models to support reporting and planning

  • Generate monthly management reports for leadership review

  • Conduct ad hoc financial analyses as requested

  • Support month-end close activities and ensure reporting accuracy

  • Assist with creation of board and executive presentation materials

  • Conduct basic profitability and performance analysis

Performance Expectations (Outcomes):

  • Demonstrate proficiency in existing reporting and forecasting models within 90 days

  • Enhance model functionality and reporting efficiency within 180 days

  • Deliver actionable variance analysis that supports business decisions

  • Contribute to month-end close within established timelines

  • Build strong relationships with business unit leaders to support financial planning

  • Identify and resolve financial reporting discrepancies in a timely manner

What We Are Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting highly preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or corporate finance

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with modeling preferred

  • Well-versed in creating and building financial models
  • Exposure to budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting tools

  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles highly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)

  • Experience working in a multi-site or healthcare environment is a plus
